Oezdemir blasted Manuwa in just 42 seconds.

UFC 214, Oezdemir blasted Manuwa to smithereens in just 42 seconds. Some beautiful dirty boxing from Oezdemir was the beginning of the end, a short left hook rocking Manuwa and sending him backpedaling across the octagon. Another left hook, this time of the longer variety, landed as Manuwa tried to escape Oezdemir’s rush and the British light-heavyweight was sent careening to the floor, off of which he banged the back of his head. Several more heavy shots followed before referee Jason Herzog intervened.

This is the third straight fight in which Oezdemir has caused a huge upset. He topped Ovince St. Preux in his promotional debut back in February, before starching the highly-touted Misha Cirkunov in just 28 seconds last time out.
